It was a very close affair. St Nicks took the lead twice but Portesham were able to draw level through some excellent forward play. Portesham took the lead to make it 3:2 with only 3 minutes left on the clock. However, St Nicks managed to score with an excellent solo effort in the little time left. Both teams had chances to win the game in the dying seconds but nobody could hot the target. Overall a draw is a fair result for two teams depleted though illness and pre arranged hair cut dates.
We’re looking forward to the rematch after Christmas.
Next match - St Augustine's at Portesham.
Date to be confirmed.
The Girls football team were invited to a Dorset FA day in Poole. During the day the girls played competitive matches and honed their individual skills. Of course they won every game. Our keeper wasn’t a busy person.
